KITS FOR CURIOSITY AND CALM

We are activating our broad network of schools, nonprofits and other afterschool providers to support young people while they are at home.

JOIN US IN CARE OF YOUNG PEOPLE:

We are coordinating young people's access to at-home activity kits that promote self-expression, creativity, learning and care.  We believe young people benefit from opportunities for play and small moments of fun and joy.

Ignite is working to match organizations that can provide at-home activity and learning kits with organizations that can get these resources to the young people who would benefit the most at this time.

If you would like to make a financial contribution, make a donation here.

To provide activity kits or to if you can distribute kits to young people, please fill out the appropriate form below:

Activity-Kit Provider: This form is for organizations that can provide activity kits for young people.  Activity kits can include art projects and supplies that allow for self-expression and creativity as well as hands- on educational activities that promote learning in fun ways.  Activities and games for siblings and family members to work on together are also encouraged.

Activity-Kit Distributor:  This form is for organizations that have relationships with young people who may be staying at home, engaged in distance learning or are otherwise impacted by the Federal DHS presence in Minnesota and that have a safe mechanism to distribute activity-kits to young people.

Ignite will work as an intermediary to get activity kits from activity-kit providers to organizations that can distribute the kits.  Ignite has always been proud of Minnesota's afterschool and summer learning community and your commitment to young people's well-being.  We look forward to working alongside you on this project.
