Community Reviewer Information

  • Ignite Afterschool is seeking Community Reviewers to review the Believe and Build Afterschool Grants! We are looking for reviewers from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences, especially those who reflect the groups of young people prioritized by the grant program.  If you work or serve on the board of an organization that is applying for funding, you may still apply to be a community reviewer but will not review applications from the same geographic area that you work in.

We encourage young people aged 15-24 to apply. You can apply by clicking on this link to submit your application by October 24th.

Community grant reviewers will be compensated between $260-$300 depending on the number of applications reviewed.

This grant program and all grant application sessions and materials are funded with a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education using federal funding, CFDA 84.425U, American Rescue Plan Act, Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund.
