We’re thrilled about a great opportunity for youth to have fun and explore their interest in STEM through hands-on activities with their peers. Make sure to spread the word to the young people in your program or your community, so they know about Youth Science Day! Here’s the event description, from our partners at the Science Museum of Minnesota’s Kitty Andersen Youth Science Center:
Join us on Thursday, July 17 from 12-4 p.m. as we celebrate our community’s youth and their passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). An event for youth ages 13-18, this event is a place for youth to join their peers in discovering and exploring an interest in STEM and their future in a STEM field!
With museum admission, youth will be able to explore:
Interactive activities created and facilitated by Maker Corps Interns from the Kitty Andersen Youth Science Center, museum youth volunteers, and youth from the community.
Resources for college and STEM career prep.
Art performances by local youth groups.
A chance to enjoy the museum with your peers.
We hope you’ll be there!
